Chess tournament

 

From oct 27 onwards we had chess tournament. Participants from different departments were played very well.

There was round matchs, semifinals were conducted. The game was in a high competitive spirit.

During these days, me and my friends try to learn chess game. And we learn it. And play for some while during free periods. It was a different experience for me.

The final match was on today.

Both were played were played very well. Last moment Reeba from our physical science won the tournament.congrats to all those who played well.

Criticism class day 3

Today we had third session of our criticism class. Also we had no peer teaching  today. First session was  handled by shilpa on the topic series & parallel connection. Second session was  handled by Renju on total internal reflection. Last session was handled by Greeshma on logic gates. The last three days of criticism class was very beautiful and informative. Our peer groups and our teacher cricised us and say about the things we have to be improved in our teaching. It was a different experience for us

Criticism class Day 2

 

   

Today was the second day of critisicm class. Ashna and Roshan take first section on the topic liquid pressure. Next section was done by sandra and rekha on Gravitational law. Then Deepa take class on modern periodic table. Last section class was conducted by  Athira, shilpa on chemical bonding 

Criticism class - Day 1

 It was a most awaited and excited day for me.Our criticism classes were started today. And the first class were taken by Ancy and Gayathry on Role play model. Next class was taken by me and Nikhil on concept attainment model.Third one is taken by lekshmi and gopika.

Nikhil and me are the team members in peer teaching.  And after completing the classes, the observers has given criticism for our teaching .We had taken the first step of our teaching career. And it was a great experience for us.

 In the afternoon we had regular classes. And Ancy Ma'am has teached us Standard Deviation and has given problems regarding the topic. Thus the class ended.

Then Maya Ma'am has taken the next class. And ma'am has discussed about the issues of Mullaperiyar. Then ma'am has done the revision on Human Rights. 

The last hour was taken by George Sir. During the hour Anooja has taken class on how to play Chess.Thus the classes ended for today.

Deviations

The first hour was taken by Maya Ma'am. Ma'am has started the class by asking some one to sing a song.Unexpectedely I sung a song. Tr likes it and also congratulates me for my creative exam troll.Megha also sung the song. Thus the day ended.

The second and third hour was taken by Ancy Ma'am. Ma'am has taken class on Range, Quartile Deviation, Mean Deviation and Standard Deviation. And then she has taught to do problems of Range and Quartile Deviation. Thus the class ended.

The fourth hour was taken by Joju sir. Sir has taken the class by a silent prayer. Then sir has taught about, the Characteristics of Research. Thus the class ended.

The fifth and sixth hours were taken by Optionals. That hour, our seminar presentation continues.I too had seminar on the topic personalised system of instruction.Then ma'am has given general instructions regarding the criticism class and thus the class ended.

The seventh hour was Library.Thus the class ended.

"SOLASTA" Prayer Song Release

 The first two hours were taken by Ancy Ma'am. Ma'am has checked homeworks and then ma'am has taught about Mode and then she has given us some problems to solve. Also give some Home works

The third and fourth hours were taken by Neena ma'am. It was a  prestigious day for our solasta family.Today was  the inaguration cermony of our new prayer song.

The fifth and sixth hours were taken by Maya Ma'am. Ma'am has talked about the rain and then ma'am has taught about the Problems and Challenges in Indian Education, defects of primary education, how to overcome these defects and about the problems of secondary school. Thus the class ended. 

The seventh hour were taken by George Sir. During the hour we had our second semester examination of Physical Education .

Motivation

 The first hour was taken by Giby ma'am. The class started with a silent prayer. Ma'am has taken class on Types of Motivation and Motivation Theories.There were 4 types of motivation. They are

Primary & secondary 

The second hour was taken by Joju Sir. Sir has started the class with a silent prayer. Then Sir has taught about What is Research and Qualities of a good researcher.

The third hour was taken by Ancy Ma'am. Ma'am has taught about Median and then  we had done problems regarding Media

The fourth hour was taken by the research student of Maya Ma'am and she has given us a questionnaire to answer for the purpose of her research work. 

The fifth and sixth hours were Optionals. These hours were utilised  for    Seminar presentation.

Thus the class ended.

Competency Building programme.

                 As a part of Curriculum, Today we  have competency  building  programme.   Brahmanayakam sir was the resource person.classes was from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Sir has given new definition for COVID and it was surprising. He said that we should be conscious, we should grap the Opportunities, we should keep values, we should develop  Individual growth)nd finally we should Dream. Thus the first letter of each gives us COVID.it was such a beautiful class. Sir also remember us that we can communicate our emotions,feelings through our eyes.it was such a motivational and intresting class

Last hour was optional. Actually today was my birthday,.Neena ma'am and my friends gave me a huge surprise . They brought cake for me and celebrate my birthday.

Back to offline classes

 After a long months of gap, we were back to our colleges.Today,a huge rain welcomed us to college.The first hour was taken by Joju Sir. The class started with a silent prayer.  Then sir shares  some points regarding tips for effective teaching.

Next hour Giby miss came  and we requested for "no class " miss asked us how we felt about coming back to campus. Then the newly engaged and wed girl's were called upon to do dance.Even boys too danced and lit up the class.it was really intresting and made us so happy

The third hour was taken by Neena Ma'am. During that hour, ma'am discusess about the works that we have to be completed and submitted in this sem.

The fourth hour was taken by Ancy Ma'am. Ma'am take class on statistics and how to do problems of correlation coefficient 

The fifth hour was taken by Maya Ma'am. Ma'am asked us to take a sheet of paper and write about the fear and anxieties we has in our life.

The last hour was taken by George Sir. Sir has explained how to draw a track and has asked to draw a track . Thus the class ended.
