Skill adds up the value of literacy- International Literacy Day

 

Today first hour was optional. Neena Ma'am divided us to 4 groups and give 4 models of teaching to each group for preparing lesson plan.

Second hour was taken by joju sir. Sir taught about domains of affective domain in Bloom's taxonomy. It includes Recieving, Responding ,valuing, organization and characterization.

Last hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. Students from mathematics done group discussion on the topic secondary education commission.

At 4'O clock we had a google meet as a part of international literacy- day. So many eminent personalities were participated in that program. Kailas chaudary sir give inagural speech. Sir shares his opinion about  importance of acquiring education. Also discuss about NPE 2021.it was such an informative session.

 Today first hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. From today onwards, our group discussion starts.English department discuss about  the topic evolution of education system in Kerala.

Second hour was taken by Giby ma'am. Ma'am taught about Theories of forgetting.They are 

1) Trace decay theory

2)interference theory

3)Motivated theory

4)Retrieved failure theory

Last hour was taken by George sir. Sir taught about track marking of long jumb, triple jumb and javellin throw.

Online Microteaching

Today First hour was taken by joju sir. Sir discuss about our seminar presentation and gave us one more week time to prepare.Then sir thanking for the Special video release by union on teacher's day.Sir gave a thought on how Teachers should be. And also sir taught about current Evaluation process . Sir suggested us to share our opinion about what modification should be made.

Next hour was taken by Maya ma'am.Miss continued to teach about Buddhism. Methods of teaching in Buddhism includes Oral instruction, Discussion, Meditation,Educational tours.Decline of Bhuddhism is due to Barbarianism and invasions,decline of royal patronage, impact of sankaracharya's preachings etc.

Next hour was Optional. Today we were guided to do microteaching through online. First time we were taking classes through online.It was such a beautiful experience for us.

Sep 5- Teacher's day.

     A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom in the pupils.On this teacher's day, I thank to all my teachers who taught me.

Today, we the" theosians" made a tribute video to our  beloved teachers to express our love and gratitude.

Memory Vs Forgetting

 

First hour was taken by Giby ma'aam. Ma'am discuss about forgetting and its types. Forgetting is the failure or inability to recall or recogonize things permanently or temporarly. Two types of forgetting ; Natural forgetting and Abnormal forgetting. Also taught about causes of forgetting.

Next hour was taken by Neena ma'am. Ma'am taught about difference between syllabus and curriculum.

Next hour was taken by joju sir. Sir taught about cognitive domain of Bloom's taxonomy.it include knowledge,comprehension,Application, Analysis, synthesis and Evaluation.

Today first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. Ma'am revise earlier topics. Then teach about Bhuddhism and 4 noble truths. Also shares certain quotes of Bhuddha. It was so informative.

Next hour was taken by Giby ma'aam. Ma'am taught about the techniques required for enhancing memory. They are  whole Vs part,Spaced Vs  unspaced, Distributive Vs Massive, Association technique, grouping, Rhythemic, Recitation, multisensory method,  Sequencing, funnel approach and acronyms. Ma'am also tell us to share various codes used for memorizing concepts, facts etc.it was so intresting and much informative.

Next hour was taken by joju sir. Sir taught about Blooms taxonomy of cognitive domains. It includes knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis  and evaluation.

Bharat Ratna Award

 Today first hour was optional. Neena Ma'am give instructions regarding our second semester works. Also give Schedule for microteaching classes.

Second hour was taken by jojusir. Sir also give instructions about the works have to be completed in second sem. Sir taught about Bloom's taxonomy.

Next hour was taken by Giby ma'aam. Class starts with a beautiful prayer by subhash. Ma'am revise the topics of previous class. Then ma'am discuss about the topic "How can we enhance our memory"?. Many of us were share there opininons.I  try to enhance my memory  through revising. The most common methods suggested by our classmates was using of codes.Making codes is probably the fun filled easy way of memorising . Reeba was the star for the day ,she shared her unique memorising code tricks with all of us. She share an amazing code  to memorize the famous persons who recieve Bharat ratna award.. Many of us shared certain codes for easy studying.Any way the Class was so intresting and informative.
